Step 1: Download the app
Download NEXT Trucking in the app store by visiting nexttrucking.com/download. The NEXT mobile app is available on both iOS and Android devices.
When you open the app for the first time, it will request that you change the app settings so that GPS is always ON. You can accept so that the app can automatically update your job status while you're on a load.
Does it cost anything to use the app?
No. It is free to download and free to use. We charge shippers a fee for finding them quality carriers.
Step 2: Create your account
Sign Up
Open the NEXT mobile app and click Sign Up
Enter your email address, chose a password, then click Continue
Choose your account type
If you have your own operating authority, drive your own truck and book your own loads, choose Owner Operator. If you are a dispatcher for a fleet but do not drive, select Dispatcher.
What do I do if I’m both an Owner Operator and a Dispatcher?
If you are an Owner Operator but you also dispatch other drivers under the same authority, sign up as a Dispatcher. After you've created your account, you will be able to add yourself as a fleet driver under this account.
When driving, you can log into the app using your fleet driver account to update job statuses on the go.
Add your home base
Start typing your home base city name and select the correct city from the list. Click Save Home Base
Add your name and cell phone number
Enter your first name, last name, and cell phone number. Click Sign Up
You’re all signed up!
The next screen will ask you to start entering your Carrier Packet information. You can either complete it now, or click on the X to complete it later.
